Meet the Founder
Kurt “KC” Clayton
Founder
Kurt “KC” Clayton is a 2-time GRAMMY-nominated producer, songwriter, arranger, and artist with a career spanning genres from R&B and gospel to rap, jazz, and country. He began his journey at 14 and honed his craft at the University of Memphis, where he now teaches Intro to Music Industry. As President of the Memphis Chapter of NARAS and a board member of both the Rock and Soul Museum and the Memphis & Shelby County Music Commission, KC is deeply rooted in the music community.
KC has worked with legends like Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, George Clinton, and Academy Award winners Three 6 Mafia. His production earned GRAMMY nominations for work with Ann Nesby and The Canton Spirituals. His company, KC Productions, bridges music and film, producing projects with a wide range of signed artists. With a legacy of excellence, KC continues to shape the future of music and entertainment.

Rev. Dr. Zedric K. Clayton, II is the Senior Pastor of Olivet Fellowship Baptist Church, The Place of the Outpouring in Memphis, TN. Dr. Zedric Clayton, affectionately called Pastor Zed, is a native of Memphis, TN. At the tender age of three, he began exhibiting signs of a higher calling, passionately expressing his love and desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. With the mission of healing the hearts of believers through the Word of God, he accepted his call to ministry at the age of 12. Pastor Zed's ministry focuses on bridging the gap between religion and reality by educating the people of God through a relevant word. His ministry crosses ethnic, generational, and denominational boundaries by seeking to minister to all demographics. In 2018, Zedric Clayton celebrated 20 years of ministry and was consecrated a bishop.
Clayton received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Organizational Management from Crichton College, a Master of Christian Studies from the Union University School of Theology and Missions, and a Doctor of Ministry in Church Growth and Revitalization from Memphis Theological Seminary. Before becoming the Senior Pastor of Olivet Fellowship in December of 2021, Pastor Zed served as Senior Pastor of The City of Truth in Clarksdale, MS, from September 2012 to December 2021. Under Pastor Clayton's leadership, the City of Truth grew from 35 members to well over 700 members, making it one of the fastest-growing churches in the Mississippi Delta.
Pastor Clayton's election as Senior Pastor of Olivet Fellowship Baptist Church is truly a "full circle moment" because he became a member of Olivet Fellowship in 2004 and served as its Youth Pastor from 2009 to 2012. Since serving as pastor of Olivet, over 1,000 people have united with the ministry. Dr. Clayton has a strong commitment to evangelism and community outreach. It is his philosophy that ministry should be Christ-centered and people-focused. Dr. Clayton is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Nina Allen-Johnson
Nina Allen‑Johnson is a visionary leader, certified life coach, and dynamic event strategist based in Memphis, Tennessee. As the Founder and President of Creative Solutions Unlimited, she has built a reputation for producing seamless, unforgettable events that inspire and connect communities. Her expertise spans event planning and coordination, brand identity development, graphic design, self-publishing support, and life coaching.
Nina has successfully orchestrated high-profile events including business expos, workshops, conferences, galas and award shows just to name a few.
Under Nina’s leadership, Creative Solutions Memphis has gained a reputation for excellence in both event management and consulting. Her ability to balance strategic insight with a flair for creative design ensures that every project, whether a business initiative or an event, exceeds expectations and delivers tangible results.
Her approach combines strategic planning with artistic vision, ensuring every detail aligns with her clients’ goals while leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
Beyond events, Nina’s work extends to empowering individuals through certified life coaching, offering guidance in clarity, confidence, and resilience. Her mission is to help clients transform their ideas into powerful, tangible results—whether through an exceptional event, a polished brand, or a meaningful personal breakthrough.
Andrew L. McCraven III, a Memphis native, has dedicated over 40 years to the entertainment industry and community development. After studying Electronic Recording and Engineering at Kansas Vocational School and becoming a certified Junior Achievement instructor, he built a career spanning cosmetology, marketing, event production, and youth advocacy.
He began as a licensed cosmetologist and later became Director of Marketing for Omni Care Cosmetics, where he launched innovative campaigns and one of the first large-scale fashion shows at the Memphis Cook Convention Center. In 1989, Andrew entered the music industry as a sound engineer at the 21st Century Youth Club, producing the “Just Say No” Tour, which empowered youth through music and drug prevention.
Over the years, he has produced concerts at major Memphis venues featuring artists such as James Brown, Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, while also working across the South. In 2004, he founded Millennial Entertainment & Marketing, providing event planning, production, PR, and artist bookings. He has also served clients like Three 6 Mafia, Lemoyne-Owen College, and the Africa in April Cultural Awareness Festival, where he has been a stage manager and MC for more than 20 years.
In 2015, Andrew launched Positive Reaction, a nonprofit focused on youth development, community awareness, and family empowerment, best known for its “Think B4 U Shoot” campaign and play presented in Memphis schools. He also hosted City Beats TV and held leadership roles in community advocacy organizations.
Today, Andrew is CEO of Positive Reaction, Stage Manager for the Juneteenth Celebration, a board member at Studio C Creative Complex, and owner of 901 PR Firm. As an event organizer, playwright, motivational speaker, and activist, he continues to use creativity and leadership to inspire and uplift the Memphis community.

Sandra Burke
For forty-four years, Sandra Burke has brought a special drive, enthusiasm, high energy, and personal strength to the tireless service of ensuring that the lives of children, youth, and families are served with dignity and great respect. She has been seen as a visionary and change agent during a career spanning positions as Managing Director of Inroads, owner of the first African American Art Gallery on South Main, Assistant Commissioner of Children’s Services, and former President and CEO of Girls Inc. of Memphis, and presently, Executive Director of Dress for Success Memphis. She consults with businesses, non-profits, and community leaders in the areas of training and development, non-profit management, government relations, and advocacy with Global Consulting Group.
Sandra’s journey to serve her community has given her the privilege to serve on many boards and task forces, including: The Community Foundation of Greater Memphis, Memphis Orchestral Society, Urban Arts Commission, and, most recently, an appointment to the Leadership Team for the National Collaborative for Girls in Science Project. She has received awards and recognition, including 50 Women Who Make A Difference, 50 Women of Excellence by Tri-State Defender, the 2005 Prestigious Frank C. Carr Award – INROADS Memphis, and The Tennessee Office of Minority Business for Economic Development Award.
Sandra is a Leadership Memphis Class of 1984 Alumna, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and University of Tennessee Knoxville Alumni Association. She is a lifelong member of Trinity C.M.E. Church. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (UTK) and has completed Post Graduate Studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Ms. Burke has two sons, Arthur Mitchell Burke and Anthony Burke. She is the past PTO President of KIPP Diamond Academy, past Legislative Chairman for the Cordova High School PTA, and an accomplished pianist and supporter of the arts.
Robin Clayton has a long history of advocating for social equity and creating inclusive environments. After earning a B.A. in Communication and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration at Washington State University in 1996, she started her career at the University of Washington’s (UW) Office of Minority Affairs. She left UW for a short period to serve as a Diversity Specialist with Casey Family Programs, focusing on building cultural competency among Casey's employees, foster families, and foster youth & alumni of care across the country. She returned to UW in 2005 as an academic adviser in the Foster School of Business. In 2012, she rejoined the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity as the Educational Opportunity Program’s (EOP) Assistant Director. She was promoted to Director two years later, until moving to Memphis, TN in 2019. During COVID, she returned to UW virtually as part of the College of Engineering, where she now serves as Executive Director of Inclusive Excellence, strategically supporting the college in fostering an environment where all members are valued and feel a sense of belonging.
Robin has also emceed events and music festivals, which led to hosting radio shows for Seattle-based Rainier Avenue Radio. She is the creator and host of the relationship podcast, “Traveler’s Guide to Venus & Mars with Princess Robin,” produced by KC Clayton, which currently airs on DFWiRadio.
Garry Goin
Garry Goin is an accomplished guitarist, songwriter, producer, national recording artist, and entertainer with more than 35 years of experience in the music business. Born in Cleveland, OH, at an early age, Garry knew music would be his life’s journey. As Garry was studying music in college, he had an epiphany that the best way to learn his craft (Music & The Business of Music) would be THE HANDS-ON APPROACH. Soon after, Garry and his band moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a band leader, he developed an understanding of personalities and how best to manage personnel, then extended his learning to focus on agents, managers, club owners, and performance agreements. With the help of his brother Charles, they became The HOTTEST band, called Phantasy, in South Florida for 5 years. Years later, Garry’s journey took him to Memphis, TN. Garry became the music director for MVP House Band for Captain Bilbo’s for 5 years. At Captain Bilbo’s, Garry was introduced to David Porter, The Hall of Fame songwriter. David became Garry’s mentor and business partner for 15 years. Garry then became the SVP of Robosac Music Publishing, and later the SVP of A&R International Pocket Records (IPR). Garry Goin has collaborated with some of the industry’s best talents, including Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Maurice White, Ray Parker Jr, Isaac Hayes, Dee Dee Bridgewater, William Bell, Kirk Whalum, BeBe Winans, Jonathan Butler, Gerald Albright, Dave Koz, En Vogue, Howard Hewett, Shalamar, James Ingram, Al Kapone, Young Dolph, MC Lyte Bruce Carroll and David Porter, to name a few.
A talented musician and band leader, Garry has also directed several major productions and served as music director for many high-profile programs and groups, including The National Civil Rights Museum Annual Freedom Award Show, G3 – The Garry Goin Group, Dual Drive and Third Coast. Garry has established a solid reputation as one of Memphis’ top performers, serving as the music director for the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies House Band, Music Director for The Chamber of Commerce, and maintaining a busy schedule as a solo artist. Even with a busy schedule, he still finds time to give back to the community, most importantly our youth, serving as artist in residence and guest lecturer at the Stax Academy and former host of the (University of Memphis) “Jazz Goin Smooth” radio show. Garry is the owner of GrapevineSquare Entertainment, a record company based out of Memphis, TN with NATIONAL DISTRIBUTION and INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS. His responsibilities include the holistic development of artists, product development, and the day-to-day management of the company’s mission that focuses on the multiple genres, including Gospel, Christian, Soul, R&B, Rock & Roll, and Blues, with a deep respect for all music genres. Garry is currently back in the studio Producing “Danny Cosby” & in the studio with David Porter Producing songs for “MADE IN MEMPHIS” and touring with his production shows titled “SOUNDS OF VINYL,” “ROAD TO MEMPHIS,” “SOUNDS OF VINYL CHRISTMAS SHOW” for GRAPEVINESQUARE ENTERTAINMENT.
